Biography

Kevin is a film, TV and video game composer with extensive experience in a wide range of musical styles and genres. Most recently Kevin worked on the video game" Dead Rising 4” and feature film biopic “Pelé: Birth of a Legend" which made the Oscar 2017 nomination list for “Best Original Score". He frequently works with Oscar and Golden Globe winning composer A.R. Rahman in India and his L.A. based studio. 

With a background in film composition from Berklee College of Music in Boston and Mechanical Engineering from Queen’s University, Kevin's work is often at the nexus of technology and music. He has spent the last few years collaborating with Intel and inventing new music technology, which will be featured at the CES 2018 keynote with Intel CEO Brian Krisanich showcasing new gesture based musical instruments. 

Kevin is also a classically trained pianist and frequently plays in and directs live shows including a recent John Williams Tribute Concert at the Madrid Opera House in Spain and A.R. Rahman’s Coke Studio show in India.  

 

Kevin has also been working as a consultant for Yamaha and Steinberg for the past 11 years where he has fostered many connections within the music industry. He is currently the West Coast Steinberg Rep where he frequents studios and trains musicians and music producers on Cubase, Nuendo, Dorico and Wavelab. Kevin has also presented on several panels at NAMM discussing the future of wearable instruments and music technology.

 

Other collaborations include working with Britain’s' infamous pop icons Robbie Williams and Guy Chambers, recording and producing their recently released album “The Heavy Entertainment Show” in addition to work on music for trailers for feature films.
